Finally

Dang, it has been a long time. But I have finally gotten around to putting up another post at my photo blog. These pictures were taken during the winter season. The photos are at the usual place. Interesting High-speed (super slow motion) Video Clips

Some really neat videos here.

Now these videos are really cool, but it makes me wonder. High speed cameras are very expensive and they use a lot of film. I wonder how they came up with the idea and were able to film all these things ...

Grad student #1: Hey, watch out! You're going to knock my Coke over.
Grad student #2: What? (bump)
Grad student #1: Ah crap!
Grad student #2: Wow! Did you see that coke shoot out of there when the can hit the ground. That was way cool!
Grad student #1: Yeah! I wonder what that would look like in slow motion.
Grad student #2: Yeah, like David Letterman used to do when he smashed things.
Grad student #1: Right. But we should do it in super slow-mo. Then it would look even better!
Grad student #2: Crap. That would be sweet, but those cameras are expensive.
Grad student #1: Say, the department has a lot of money now. Maybe we could write up a proposal to get some grant money.
Grad student #2: Dude! Let's do it!

OK, so maybe my language is a bit dated; it's been a while since I've been in university. But I wonder what that proposal would look like ...
